Cancellations and No Show Policy
Missed/unattended appointments (both telehealth and in person) represent a lost opportunity for another patient to see a urologist. Patients are given their appointment times at the time of booking. It is the patient’s responsibility to remember their appointment and ensure they attend (or cancel/reschedule with adequate notice).
Patient must cancel at least 24hours before appointment. For surgeries, patients must cancel at least 1 week prior to scheduled surgery date.
Cancellation without adequate notice and no-shows will be accountable for a no show fee being charged to their account. Outreach clinics include Sechelt, Squamish, Whistler, UBC Bladder Care Centre, and any other outreach services provided outside of North Vancouver.
No Show Fees:
Full consult – $100 (new or re-referred patients)
Followup – $100
Cystoscopy – $100
Outreach clinics (all appointments) – $100
Surgery – $500
